TB Screening FAQs

What is the difference between the TB screening survey and a TB skin test?

All degree-seeking students, faculty and staff must first complete the screening survey. The survey checks for possible TB risk. If you answer yes to any question, you must complete follow-up skin testing.

What happens if I do not submit TB documentation?

A registration hold will be placed on your student account for the next semester. The hold will stay in place until the survey and any required follow-up are completed.

Do online students need to complete the survey?

Yes. All degree-seeking ϳԹ students must complete the survey, including online students. Students taking only online classes may request a waiver for the follow-up requirement. The waiver is valid only for the current semester and only if the student is enrolled only in online classes.

Do dual credit and dual enrollment students need to complete the survey?

No. Only degree-seeking ϳԹ students are required to complete the survey.
